What Is Melody of Us?
Melody of Us (melodyofus.com) makes custom songs “for someone you love”. You pick who the song is for and a genre — Country, Jazz, Pop/Folk, R&B, Rock or Soul — answer questions about the person, and the song is emailed to you. The site says “13,435 songs created by professional artists” and describes its process with a singer recording, a vocalist in the studio and a producer at the mixing desk. There is no app; it runs on the website.
Several reviewers mention getting two versions of their song to choose from, which the site does not state as standard but customers consistently report.
How Much Does Melody of Us Cost?
The honest answer is that you have to reach the checkout to find out. As of 24 September 2026:
- Base price: not published on the site. It is shown after you complete the questionnaire.
- Rush delivery: “A 24-hour rush option is available at checkout” — price also shown only there.
- Included: the song by email, unlimited free revisions, and the money-back guarantee.
What customers say about the price, without naming it: “the price I paid was ridiculously low for the value received”, and a comparison to “the cost of a nice bunch of flowers”. Reasonable signals, but not a number. For the published prices across the market, see our custom song pricing breakdown.
How Long Does Melody of Us Take?
“Standard delivery is 72 hours to your email. A 24-hour rush option is available at checkout.” Reviewers describe receiving their versions “within a couple of days”. Changes go through the same email thread, so each revision is another round trip.
OurSong Studio works the other way round: you answer a few questions, the song is written and produced in minutes, and you listen to it before there is anything to pay for. If you change the lyrics or the sound, the new version is made the same way.
Is Melody of Us Legit?
Yes. Melody of Us is a real service with an unusually clean record: a claimed Trustpilot profile at 4.9 out of 5 from 272 reviews (24 September 2026), 99% five-star and under 1% one-star. Reviewers praise the vocals, the turnaround, the support, and having two versions to pick from. Trustpilot notes the company “hasn’t replied to negative reviews” and “hasn’t invited customers recently”.
Its guarantee is the strongest wording in this market: “If we can’t make it exactly as you want, you get a 100% money back guarantee — no questions asked”, alongside “unlimited revisions at no extra cost”. The one thing it withholds is the price.
