Songlorious Cost & Reviews 2026: Is It Worth It vs OurSong?

Songlorious Cost: The Quick Answer

Songlorious costs $95 to $315 for the song itself, depending on length and genre: a one-minute acoustic pop or country song is $95, a one-minute song in a produced genre (modern pop, R&B, hip hop, dance, pop rock) is $135, two minutes is $195–$235 and three minutes $265–$315. Choosing a named artist, faster delivery, publishing rights, a cassette and commercial use are all add-ons on top. Those are Songlorious’s own shop listings, checked on 24 September 2026. It is a legitimate, Shark Tank-featured company that pairs you with a real singer, and its reviews are strong.

What Is Songlorious?

Songlorious is one of the better-known custom song services, and it got a big boost in visibility from an appearance on Shark Tank in 2021. The model is straightforward: you share your story and preferences, and a professional singer-songwriter writes and records an original song based on your answers. A few days later, you receive your finished track.

Its core appeal is the human element. Real musicians interpret your story and perform the song, and the company leans on studio-quality production and a catalog of artists across different styles. For many people, the idea of a real singer crafting their song is exactly what they're paying for — and that's a genuine, legitimate thing to want.

What you receive is the recording itself as a download — one, two or three minutes long depending on what you paid for — with publishing to streaming platforms and a cassette available as add-ons. The site says 300,000+ custom songs have been delivered.

How Much Does Songlorious Cost?

Songlorious doesn’t show a price on its homepage; the prices live in its shop listings. As of 24 September 2026 the song itself is priced by length and genre:

• 1 minute: $95 for Acoustic Pop or Country Acoustic/Folk; $135 for Modern Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Dance/EDM or Pop Rock.
• 2 minutes: $195 acoustic / $235 produced genres.
• 3 minutes: $265 acoustic / $315 produced genres.

Then the options, priced on the $95 one-minute song (the same add-ons apply to every listing):

• Choose your artist — +$20 (“Yes Artist” vs “No Artist”).
• Delivery — standard is 4 business days; 2 business days is +$80.
• Download and Publish — +$60 to release the song on streaming platforms; cassette +$60; publish and cassette together +$100.
• Commercial use — +$150 over personal use.

So the answer to “how much is Songlorious?” is $95 at the very least, $135–$235 for the typical order, and up to $445 for a one-minute song with every option — before the longer versions. There is also a $25-off code offered for a phone number on the homepage.

Why is Songlorious this expensive? Because a singer spends real time writing, recording and producing each song, and that work has to be paid for. It isn’t overpriced for what it is; it is a premium, human-made product. The question is whether that is what you need. For the wider market see our custom song pricing breakdown and why most services charge $200+.

How Long Does Songlorious Take?

Standard delivery is 4 business days; 2 business days costs $80 more on the listings we checked. Business days, not calendar days — an order on Thursday afternoon on the standard option lands the following Wednesday.

OurSong Studio works the other way round: you answer a few questions, the song is written and produced in minutes, and you listen to it before there is anything to pay for. If you change the lyrics or the sound, the new version is made the same way.

Is Songlorious Legit?

Yes — Songlorious is a legitimate, reputable company. Its Shark Tank appearance in 2021 put it on the map, and on Trustpilot (24 September 2026) its claimed profile holds a 4.8 out of 5 from 238 reviews: 93% five-star, 6% one-star. The happy reviews describe a singer who captured the story. The unhappy ones are about delivery: “delayed delivery time frames, unresponsive service”, and links that didn’t work.

There is nothing about Songlorious that should raise a scam concern. Two things to check before ordering: the delivery option you chose is in business days, and the price you see on the listing is before artist, delivery, publishing and commercial-use add-ons.

Is Songlorious AI or Real Singers?

It's a fair question now that custom songs range from instant AI generators to human-artist services, so here's the plain answer: Songlorious uses real human singers and songwriters, not AI voices. When you order, a musician personally writes and records your song based on the details you submit.

That human-artist model is the whole point of Songlorious — and it is the main reason the price sits where it does. OurSong Studio is a different product: your answers become lyrics you read and can change, then the song is produced in minutes and you hear it before you pay. Neither approach is “better” in the abstract; they suit different priorities, which is exactly what the verdict below is about.

Songlorious Pros and Cons

So, Is Songlorious Worth It?

It comes down to what you're really buying. If the human-artist experience is the point — if you want a real singer to interpret and perform your song, and the price and wait don't bother you — then Songlorious is worth it and delivers exactly that.
